CVE-2026-59310Known exploitationNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated code execution via Syslog path traversal

Published Jul 30, 2026 · Updated Jul 30, 2026

Directory traversal in the VMware vCenter Syslog server allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code over the network. Broadcom identifies the locus as the Syslog server and the defect as directory traversal, but does not disclose the request field or filesystem operation. Network access to the management server is sufficient; successful exploitation runs attacker-selected code with the service's privileges and can compromise the managed environment.
