Browser code execution via CDN scripts without SRI
Published Aug 27, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026
Unsafe external resource loading in Spring for GraphQL allows attackers to run JavaScript in browsers that load its bundled GraphiQL page. The stock GraphiQL index page imports JavaScript from the esm.sh CDN without Subresource Integrity, so substituted content executes as trusted page code. Exploitation requires an enabled, exposed endpoint and compromise of the CDN or its network path; resulting code can read non-HttpOnly cookies and issue authenticated same-origin requests.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=1.0.0 <=1.0.7
- Affected versionversion=1.1.0 <=1.3.9
- Affected versionversion=1.4.0 <=1.4.6
- Affected versionversion=2.0.0 <=2.0.4
