CVE-2026-59270Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Directory read and write via exposed admin bind

Published Aug 27, 2026 · Updated Aug 28, 2026

Improper credential management in Spring Security allows remote attackers to read or modify entries in an embedded LDAP directory. UnboundIdContainer unconditionally registers a well-known administrative bind credential and exposes its listener on every network interface. Exploitation requires an application to use the embedded UnboundID server and the LDAP listener to be reachable; successful access permits reading and changing only the in-memory directory.
