SQL injection via unparameterized expression interpolation
Published Jul 8, 2026 · Updated Jul 8, 2026
SQL injection in n8n's legacy MySQL v1 node allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL through exposed workflow triggers. The executeQuery operation substitutes evaluated expression values into a raw SQL string without parameterization. Exposure requires a workflow that uses expression-sourced query values and a reachable trigger; injected SQL runs with the configured MySQL credentials and can read, modify, or delete downstream database data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
