Restricted video disclosure via unbound Gallery tokens
Published Aug 22, 2026 · Updated Aug 22, 2026
Authorization bypass in World Wide Broadcast Network AVideo through commit 9c39d8c8 allows remote attackers to view restricted videos. The Gallery sections endpoint exposes a token from getToken(), which binds neither a subject nor a purpose, while verifyToken() accepts it across subsystems. On a default installation with Gallery enabled, an unauthenticated visitor who knows a restricted video's directory name can reuse the five-minute token at view/hls.php to obtain its HLS playlist.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
