Authenticated privilege escalation via unchecked permission synchronization
Published Aug 10, 2026 · Updated Aug 10, 2026
Missing authorization in Roskus Prospero Flow CRM before 5.2.1 allows remote authenticated users to grant any role all application permissions. PermissionSaveController passes attacker-supplied role IDs and permission arrays directly to syncPermissions without a route or controller authorization check. Any signed-in role, including Seller, can assign its own role all 38 defined permissions and gain full application privileges.
