Unauthenticated task execution via network-exposed API
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026
Missing authentication in DerYeger @yeger/turbo-graph before 2.8.9 allows adjacent-network attackers to execute repository tasks. The /api/run GET handler passes attacker-selected task names to spawn() as Turbo CLI arguments without authentication or a task allowlist, while the server listens on all interfaces. Reachability requires a developer to run the tool on a shared network; triggered tasks execute with that developer account and can expose secrets, modify files, or interrupt services.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
