Cross-user document disclosure via unscoped semantic search
Published Jul 2, 2026 · Updated Jul 2, 2026
Broken access control in LobeHub 2.2.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read other users' RAG document data. The ChunkModel semanticSearch methods omit the caller's user identifier from chunk and embedding queries, while the chat path resolves supplied knowledge-base identifiers without ownership scoping. Any account on a shared server can retrieve another user's chunk text, file names, and metadata, and omitting file identifiers searches the instance-wide corpus.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
