Unauthorized due-date creation via omitted permission checks
Published Jul 2, 2026 · Updated Jul 2, 2026
Missing authorization in Taiga taiga-back before 6.10.2 allows remote attackers to create default due-date records in any project. The create_default actions in three due-date API viewsets accept an arbitrary project_id and create records without invoking the project-admin permission check. No authentication is required; successful requests persist template-derived records and block administrators from initializing that due-date category afterward.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
