Code execution via PSD block counter underflow

Code execution in GIMP's PSD plug-in on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, 8, and 9 allows attackers to run code via a crafted PSD file. The parser underflows the unsigned block_rem counter while processing attacker-controlled layer-resource data, then treats injected bytes as additional resource blocks. A desktop user must open the file in GIMP; successful exploitation executes code in the GIMP process context.
