CVE-2026-59086

Code execution via crafted binary argument

Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026

Stack-based buffer overflow in Siemens Simcenter Nastran before V2606 allows local users to execute code via a crafted binary argument. The affected binary parses a specially crafted string argument without adequate bounds enforcement, overflowing a stack buffer. Exploitation requires the current process to receive the argument and passive user interaction, and resulting code runs in that process's context.
