Cross-tenant statistics corruption via unchecked project_id
Published Jul 2, 2026 · Updated Jul 2, 2026
Authorization bypass in PraisonAI before 0.1.7 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt cross-workspace project statistics. The issue create and update routes pass the body-supplied project_id to IssueService without verifying that the referenced project belongs to the URL workspace, while get_stats counts issues by project_id alone. Membership in any workspace and a target project UUID are required; the impact is limited to skewed statistics, without disclosed issue-content access.
