Local code execution via undisclosed authorization flaw
Published Jul 14, 2026 · Updated Jul 14, 2026
Improper authorization in Microsoft Windows Admin Center before 2.7.4 allows local users to execute code on the gateway host. Microsoft has not disclosed the affected authorization check, code path, or the operation that accepts an unauthorized local request. The attacker must already hold low privileges on the gateway host, and successful exploitation permits local code execution.
