Arbitrary SQL execution via unescaped table names
Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026
SQL injection in the Grav CMS Database plugin before 1.2.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL through crafted table names. PDO::tableExists interpolates its table argument directly into a raw query without sanitization, escaping, quoting, or an allowlist. Exploitation requires consuming plugin or developer code to pass attacker-controlled input; successful queries can read, modify, or delete database data.
