CVE-2026-58484Public exploit

Arbitrary recursive deletion via poisoned backup manifest

Published Jul 20, 2026 · Updated Jul 20, 2026

Path traversal in Network-AI before 5.12.2 allows local users to delete process-writable paths through a poisoned backup manifest. The EnvironmentManager.listBackups method accepts the path value from each _manifest.json file, and pruneBackups passes it unchanged to recursive rmSync. Exploitation requires write access to the Network-AI data directory and execution of backup pruning; deletion is limited to paths writable by the process user.
