Sandbox file disclosure via path-prefix collision
Published Jul 20, 2026 · Updated Jul 20, 2026
Path traversal in Jovancoding Network-AI before 5.12.2 allows local users to read files outside an AgentRuntime sandbox. AgentRuntime resolvePath and SandboxPolicy isPathAllowed accept prefix-collision sibling paths because raw startsWith tests ignore path-separator boundaries. Access to AgentRuntime file operations is required; successful exploitation reads or lists data in a sibling path sharing the sandbox prefix.
