Authenticated code execution via executable plugin extraction
Published Jul 13, 2026 · Updated Jul 13, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in ChurchCRM before 7.4.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via a malicious plugin ZIP. PluginInstaller.php permits the php extension and extracts archive contents beneath the Apache document root, making embedded PHP files immediately web-executable. Administrator session or API-key access is required; successful exploitation runs commands as www-data and exposes application data and reachable internal services.
