Stored script execution via unencoded product name
Published Apr 9, 2026 · Updated Apr 9, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Code Projects Online Shoe Store 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The /admin/admin_product.php handler places the product_name value into an HTML response without output encoding or filtering, so stored markup executes when the page is viewed. Exploitation requires high-privilege access and a viewer to load the affected content; the bounded impact is unauthorized browser-side actions in that viewer's session.
