CVE-2026-58306Public exploit

Engine crash via unchecked intra-block jump

Published Jul 9, 2026 · Updated Jul 9, 2026

Heap overflow in Escargot before ef525f337fafddecde77a3c426212a84bb20cb98 allows local users to crash the engine with crafted JavaScript. InterpreterSlowPath::blockOperation propagates an intra-block NeedsJump destination, causing Interpreter::interpret to read eight bytes past the heap-backed bytecode buffer. Execution of attacker-supplied JavaScript is required; the public reproducer demonstrates an engine crash, while the CNA reports no confidentiality impact.
