Type confusion in Escargot before 779f6bedf58f334dec64b0a51ebb724b4708b84a allows local users to crash it with crafted JavaScript. The spread slow paths read m_fastModeData directly after a spread array has switched from fast-mode to slow-mode storage, producing an invalid pointer read. Exploitation requires execution of attacker-controlled JavaScript and user interaction; the demonstrated result is process termination, not established code execution.
