Authorization bypass via hard-coded application credential

Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026

Hard-coded credentials in SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization Model Mix Planning allow remote authenticated users to bypass authorization. The source code uses a fixed credential to authorize access to restricted Model Mix Planning functions, permitting the embedded value to defeat the intended permission check. High-privilege access is required, and exploitation permits deletion of specific planning restrictions with limited confidentiality and integrity effects and no service interruption.
