Cloud asset manipulation via unrestricted parameter signing
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026
Improper parameter signing in JHB Software Payload CMS Plugins 0.3.0 through 0.3.4 allows remote authenticated users to alter cloud assets. The getGenerateSignature handler passes body.paramsToSign directly to api_sign_request without restricting keys, folders, identifiers, or timestamp freshness. Reachability requires clientUploads to be enabled and a Payload account; valid signatures permit asset replacement, visibility changes, callbacks, and cache invalidation.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
