CVE-2026-58191Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Arbitrary JavaScript via unescaped test-route templates

Published Jul 8, 2026 · Updated Jul 8, 2026

Reflected XSS in Appium before 10.7.0 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript on the server origin through test routes. The base-driver mounts three guinea-pig routes on every server, and compileLodashTemplate inserts query, form, and User-Agent values into HTML without escaping. A victim must open a crafted link or submit a form; the resulting script can call unauthenticated WebDriver and plugin endpoints on the same origin.
