CVE-2026-58177Network attack vector

Unauthenticated proxy crash and limited data corruption

Published Jul 29, 2026 · Updated Jul 29, 2026

Memory corruption and path traversal in Apache Traffic Server 10.0.0 through 10.1.3 allow remote attackers to crash the proxy. Apache identifies out-of-bounds writes and use-after-free errors in the Cripts framework but does not disclose the affected functions, inputs, or incorrect operations. Exposure requires Cripts to be enabled at build time and a Cript to be loaded by proxy configuration; exploitation crashes the proxy and allows limited alteration and downstream disclosure.
