Mandate forgery via traversed proposal identifiers
Published Jun 30, 2026 · Updated Jun 30, 2026
Path traversal in Vibe-Trading before 0.1.10 allows remote authenticated users to forge live trading mandates via proposal identifiers. The mandate commit code joins an untrusted proposal identifier to the proposals directory and loads the resulting JSON without containment validation. An admitted caller can upload JSON to a known path, traverse to it, and omit ceilings so the loaded file controls the committed mandate.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
