Cache deserialization errors in Apache Traffic Server allow remote attackers to corrupt cache state or crash the proxy server. The cache subsystem deserializes on-disk cache fields while mishandling their values and associated object lifetimes; Apache has not disclosed the affected functions or missing validation. Network access without authentication is sufficient, but exploitation requires an affected cache-object state; consequences are limited to state integrity loss and a proxy-process crash.
