CVE-2026-58156Network attack vector

Access-control bypass via URL port mis-parsing

Published Jul 29, 2026 · Updated Jul 29, 2026

Incorrect authorization in Apache Traffic Server allows remote attackers to bypass port-based access controls with crafted URLs. The URL and userinfo parser mis-parses port values before port-based authorization, causing the policy check to use an incorrect port. Reachability requires a port-based access-control policy and a crafted URL; Apache has not disclosed the triggering syntax or precise parser operation.
