Administrator script execution via unneutralized log values
Published Jul 17, 2026 · Updated Jul 17, 2026
Stored XSS in ChronoForms 1.0 through 8.0.52 allows remote attackers to execute scripts in an administrator's browser via form submissions. The form log viewer renders attacker-controlled JavaScript stored as a Checkboxes Group or multi-selection dropdown value without neutralizing it. Exploitation requires Form Logs to be enabled for the affected form and an administrator to open the infected log entry.
