Administrator browser script execution via unencoded id reflection
Published Apr 8, 2026 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Reflected XSS in SourceCodester Sales and Inventory System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in an administrator's browser. The delete.php handler inserts the id GET parameter into its HTTP response without sanitization or output encoding, so a crafted URL supplies executable JavaScript. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and an authenticated administrator to open the crafted link; the script then runs in that administrator's browser context.
