Root code execution via unchecked PSN endpoint copy

Heap-based buffer overflow in FreeBSD ppp(8) allows local users to crash the process or execute arbitrary code as root. The mp_SetEnddisc() function copies a user-supplied PSN endpoint value into a heap buffer without validating its length. Execution requires access to the ppp(8) command interface, which is limited to members of the network group; systems that do not use ppp(8) are unaffected.
