Privilege escalation via ELF core dump race

Race condition in FreeBSD before 14.4-RELEASE-p8, 15.0-RELEASE-p12, and 15.1-RELEASE-p2 allows local users to gain kernel privileges. In the ELF core dump path, the kernel counts dumpable VM map entries, allocates a program-header buffer from that count, and then walks the map again; an rfork(2)-sharing process can change the map between passes and make the second walk write past the end of that heap buffer. Exploitation requires an unprivileged local user to share an address space with a process that will dump core, and the documented consequence is a kernel heap out-of-bounds write that can lead to privilege escalation.
