Stored XSS via unneutralized post title
Published Apr 8, 2026 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Code Projects Easy Blog Site 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject script through the postTitle parameter. The /posts/update.php handler stores postTitle without neutralizing executable HTML or JavaScript before the saved title is rendered in a page. A low-privileged account can plant the payload, but execution requires another user to view the affected post, enabling unauthorized page actions in that user's browser context.
