Certificate hostname-validation bypass in Node.js 22.x, 24.x, and 26.x allows man-in-the-middle attackers to disclose HTTPS data. The HTTPS Agent reuses a cached TLS session across requests with differing identity policies, causing the later connection to skip hostname verification.
