Front-page configuration tampering via tokenless GET request
Published Aug 22, 2026 · Updated Aug 22, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in AVideo through commit 9c39d8c8 allows remote attackers to alter Gallery front-page configuration. The endpoint reads users_id and add from $_REQUEST, accepts GET, checks only User::isAdmin(), and persists Gallery plugin data without a CSRF token. An administrator must load an attacker-controlled page while the session cookie is sent cross-site; the request can promote a channel or remove curated homepage sections.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
