Unauthenticated data exposure via hardcoded API key
Published Jun 26, 2026 · Updated Jun 26, 2026
Authentication bypass in Johnson & Johnson Campus Recruiting before 2025-10-31 allows remote attackers to view student and interviewer data. The recruiter frontend enforces Microsoft SSO, but its AWS APIs ignore the MSAL token and instead accept a hardcoded API key exposed in the client code. No account or user interaction is required; successful access discloses student submissions, ratings, and interview notes.
