Authenticated code execution via skipped upload allow-list
Published Jul 11, 2026 · Updated Jul 11, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in Phoca Download 6.1.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute code through member uploads. The frontend member-upload path selects an internal mode that skips the configured file-type allow-list, letting executable files reach a public web-root folder. Exploitation requires a registered account, the non-default user-upload feature, and category upload rights; executing the uploaded PHP file compromises the server.
