Improper authorization in MphRx Minerva 3.6.0 allows remote authenticated users to obtain administrator privileges via an HTTP request. The /minerva/moUser/update endpoint accepts a manipulated identifier field from users with user-modification rights without enforcing the requested privilege boundary. Exploitation requires user-modification privileges and direct request crafting because the graphical interface does not expose the escalation path.
