Author-level stored XSS via unsafe output

Published Jul 2, 2026 · Updated Jul 2, 2026

Stored cross-site scripting in Andrew Fiebert Lasso Lite 152 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with Author access to inject scripts. The affected admin and shortcode output and quick-detail AJAX paths fail to sanitize stored input and escape it when rendered; the exact field is undisclosed. Exploitation requires interaction by another user, after which injected code executes in visitors' browsers and can alter displayed content or access browser-visible data.
