Contributor-level file deletion via unrestricted path
Published Jul 23, 2026 · Updated Jul 23, 2026
Path traversal in VideoWhisper Picture Gallery 1.6.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete arbitrary server files. A Contributor-supplied path reaches a file-deletion operation without restriction to the intended directory, although published sources do not identify the handler or function. Contributor access is required; successful deletion can alter site data or interrupt availability, while the published record reports no confidentiality impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
