CVE-2026-5768

Adjacent device control via unauthenticated BLE characteristics

Published May 29, 2026 · Updated May 29, 2026

Authentication bypass in Fourth Frontier Frontier X2 all versions allows physically proximate attackers to control the wearable over BLE. The device accepts unauthenticated reads and writes to critical GATT characteristics, while Android apps before 15.0.0 and iOS apps before 25.0.0 trust cloned BLE advertisements and expected GATT services without authenticating the peripheral. BLE proximity is required; attackers can start or stop activities, trigger vibrations, disrupt service, and inject fabricated health telemetry into the app.
