CVE-2026-57586Public exploit

Code execution via unvalidated repository-local Gradle wrapper

Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026

Code execution in agent-coderag before 1.3.1 allows attackers to run arbitrary code via an attacker-controlled Gradle repository. The sync dependency-discovery path selects a repository-local gradlew or gradlew.bat and executes it without validating its content or integrity. Exploitation requires a victim or automated pipeline to index the malicious repository, after which code runs with the indexing process privileges and can read or modify data, establish persistence, or interrupt service.
