Cross-user script execution via unsanitized PDF layouts
Published Jun 25, 2026 · Updated Jun 25, 2026
Stored XSS in the pretix PDF layout editor allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in another backend user's browser. The editor inserts attacker-controlled HTML from a stored ticket or badge layout specification into its page without neutralizing script-capable markup or enforcing a strong Content Security Policy. The attacker needs backend access to modify a layout, and a second backend user must open the editor; affected releases are before 2026.3.4, 2026.4.0 through 2026.4.3, and 2026.5.0 through 2026.5.1.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <2026.3.4
