Authenticated command execution via unescaped log target
Published Aug 27, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026
OS command injection in HAVELSAN Liman Core before 2.2.2 - 1103 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands on the server. LogRotationController::saveConfiguration inserts ip_address into an rsyslog template, and Command::format substitutes it into a shell command without escaping single quotes. The route requires administrator authentication, and injected commands run with the web application process's privileges.
