Unauthorized field disclosure via stale LiveQuery state
Published Jul 8, 2026 · Updated Jul 8, 2026
Data disclosure in Parse Server before 8.6.83 or 9.0.0-alpha.1 through 9.9.1-alpha.12 allows remote authenticated users to read restricted fields. In ParseLiveQueryServer._onAfterSave, leave events use the post-save object after read access is revoked, while enter events retain the pre-grant object. Exposure requires a LiveQuery-enabled class, an active subscription, and one save that changes both field values and ACL read access; disclosure is limited to that object's state.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
