Unauthenticated configuration write via unchecked POST endpoint
Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026
Missing authentication in Deloitte AI Assist for Customer before 2026-03-25 allows remote attackers to add configuration records. The /app-config/v1/config/get-instance write path accepts unauthenticated POST requests and persists attacker-controlled base_url values in the production configuration store. No credentials or user interaction are required, but the coordinator found that the added records were not consumed, limiting impact to unused configuration changes.
