Payment-status forgery via unverified webhook results
Published Jul 13, 2026 · Updated Jul 13, 2026
Missing authorization in Peach Payments Gateway 4.0.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to mark WooCommerce orders paid via forged webhooks. The public handle_switch_webhook() form-POST branch uses $_POST without decode_data() or signature validation, and handle_webhook() trusts its result_code before calling payment_complete(). No account or user interaction is required, but the plugin must be active and the attacker must know or guess an order ID in a payable state.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
