Unauthenticated stored script execution in visitors' browsers
Published Jul 2, 2026 · Updated Jul 2, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Andy Fragen WP Debugging 2.12.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts into WordPress pages. The CNA and Patchstack have not published the affected parameter, storage path, or output sink, so the wrong handling operation remains undisclosed. Exploitation starts without authentication but requires a privileged user to open or submit attacker-controlled content, where stored script execution can alter page content and act with that visitor's browser access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
