Reflected XSS via unescaped form preview identifier
Published Jun 26, 2026 · Updated Jun 26, 2026
Reflected XSS in the weMail form-preview AJAX handler in 2.1.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in a victim's browser. FormPreview::render_form_component inserts an attacker-controlled form_id into an HTML id attribute without escaping and exposes the preview without a capability or nonce check. A logged-in WordPress user must open the crafted preview URL; the script then runs in that site's browser origin.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
