Credential capture via unchecked connection test
Published Jun 24, 2026 · Updated Jun 24, 2026
Missing authorization in Jenkins Zowe zDevOps Plugin 1.1.3.50.ve350c9b_450b_1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to capture stored credentials. The connection-test endpoint accepts an attacker-specified URL and credential ID without checking permission, then authenticates to that URL with the selected Jenkins credential. Overall/Read permission and prior knowledge of a valid credential ID are required; successful exploitation discloses the stored secret to an attacker-controlled service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
