CVE-2026-57305Network attack vector

Attacker-directed connections via GET connection test

Published Jun 24, 2026 · Updated Jun 24, 2026

Cross-site request forgery in Jenkins Assembla Plugin 1.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to initiate attacker-directed connections. The Assembla connection-test HTTP endpoint accepts GET requests without requiring POST, allowing a crafted cross-origin request to supply a URL, username, and password. Exploitation requires an authenticated Jenkins user's browser to reach the endpoint; the resulting request uses only attacker-supplied credentials and cannot trigger the related XXE flaw.
